There has been an amazingly huge amount of writings about the great artist, during his lifetime but also beyond it. Nevertheless the writing continues and will go on because his work is a never ending inspiration, a source of review and information for the entire world, and the contemplation and admiration of pure art is timeless.

Whatever the volume Brancusi: An Endless Bibliography brings about as new is original and interesting. This journal that unfolds along 109 years by annual bibliography depicts not only the artist's life but also his prodigious activity.

More than 7,000 reference titles on the artist's life and work means a lot, but here is this author saying that, after two years of research she has found out the Brancusi bibliographical documentation stays an open process, far from being complete due to its richness, diversity and worldwide size.
